MobiLock Pro Manages, Secures Personal Android Devices

By Paula Bernier - Executive Editor, TMC

ProMobi Technologies today revealed that businesses using its MobiLock Pro solution can now leverage it to manage employee-owned Android devices. At the same time, this mobile device management solution keeps personal data private and separate from work-related stuff by creating an OS-level container for corporate data and applications.

"We have been working towards this value-addition since some time and would keep working towards bringing BYOD management support for iOS and Windows 10,” said Sriram Kakarala, vice president of mobility at ProMobi Technologies. “Companies embracing BYOD policy see multi-dimensional advantages including overall cost-optimization, enhanced work-productivity, better employee engagement, faster issue resolution, and improved employee satisfaction. MobiLock BYOD ensures that the company IT has complete supervision over the security policies while assuring total privacy for users' personal information."

MobiLock Pro also features tight integration with EVA Communications Suite. ProMobi Technologies says that allows for enterprise-wide, real-time communication via two-way chat and VoIP calls. It adds that MobiLock BYOD has robust security and data protection policies. That includes the ability to disable data copying from the work app to a personal app. MobiLock BYOD also allows for ease of device enrollment.

ProMobi Technologies is a development company out of Pune, India. It provides consulting services; mobile and web application development; and solutions based on Angular JS, Node.js, and Ruby on Rails.

More than 3000 companies use MobiLock Pro. That includes organizations in a variety of verticals, including construction and real estate, education, financial services, health care, retail, software and telecom, and transportation and logistics.

HFT expects the North American mobile device management market to reach $3.23 billion by 2023. It says between 2018 and 2023 the MDM space will see a compound annual growth rate of 24.25 percent.
