Panasonic Brings Cloud UC to Europe
Planning for the future is something that’s on the mind of innovative businesses across the globe. When it comes to communications infrastructures being ready for emerging innovations usually requires a move to the cloud.
Cloud solutions can be easily scaled, cost less and require little to no work for the internal teams. It’s also a great way to increase collaboration and bring together those located geographically distant from each other.
In a bid to bring this innovation to businesses in Europe, Panasonic has announced the launch of its first ever European-based cloud communication platform, UC-Line.
Currently available in France and Spain, the new offering is a fully integrated cloud communication platform that includes the company's range of SIP phones with VoIP, video conferencing and other UC tools to prepare businesses for future needs.
Other European markets will begin seeing a roll out of the offering via the company's channel partner network in early 2020.
The development of UC-Line was the result of a partnership that began in 2018 with Blueface a provider of cloud-based UCaaS and collaboration technology. Together the companies have seen the successful delivery of similar offerings in the US market.
“Panasonic has built its legacy on innovation and UC-Line is a truly world class, integrated cloud UC offering for our European partners and customers. The strategic technology partnership with Blueface delivers a best-in-class unified communications solution seamlessly integrated to our SIP device and PBX product portfolio,” said Carlos Osuna, Head of Business Unit at Panasonic Communications Solutions.
In addition to being ready for future changes, the infrastructure is also remotely managed so there is no costly, up-front investment needed to have access to powerful UCaaS features. A softphone app is also available for Android and iOS so users can make and receive calls landline calls using a mobile device and international dial-in numbers for calls. In addition users have an online portal with management options like admin controls for adding and removing users as well as real-time call reporting, recording and call conferencing tools.
