8x8 Announces Minneapolis Office
Cloud communications is an international venture, with providers positioning for long term prosperity with extended footprints and comprehensive portfolios. Just remember: nothing says local like being local.
In an effort to better serve its Midwest partners and customers, 8x8 announced the opening of a new 34,000 square foot office at 733 South Marquette Avenue in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The new office addresses the demands of a growing company, with an expanding customer base. 8x8 introduces a robust cloud-powered communications portfolio, and Minneapolis offers a sprawling Midwestern city with nearly four million residents and a flourishing business community.
"Our business momentum continues to accelerate, and we are rapidly hiring employees around the globe to meet evolving business requirements,” said Vik Verma, CEO of 8x8 and ITEXPO (News - Alert) keynote speaker. “The Greater Minneapolis-Saint Paul region is consistently ranked among the best places to do business in the United States. With its vibrant and growing workforce, it’s the right place for us to continue our expansion to support our customers and partners while driving ongoing revenue growth and innovative product solutions.”
The new North American operational hub is in the heart of downtown and includes a fitness center, on-site parking, VIP valet lounge, conference center and concierge services. The facility joins new locations in Romania, Sydney, the U.K. and more.
“Minneapolis’ businesses have always played a crucial role in our city’s success, and we’re thrilled that 8x8 has joined our community,” said Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey. “We strive to foster a culture of inclusion, innovation, and entrepreneurship, and we know that 8x8 will fit right in with that mission.”
8x8 is supporting its future-forward portfolio with likeminded staffing and facilities to drive its impact in this phase of digital transformation.
