SmartSIP Named Avaya IX Workplace Calling Compliant

By Maurice Nagle - Web Editor

From the contact center to the c-suite, communications are key to day-to-day operations – especially when working from home. Engaging with customers is crucial to maintain strong relationships so choosing the right communication components can make a major difference to the bottom line.

IntraNext Systems announced its SmartSIP solution is compliant with the Avaya IX Workplace Calling suite of solutions.

“Technology partners like IntraNext Systems understand the importance our mutual customers place on DevConnect compliance testing. This compliance testing means customers can confidently add IntraNext’s SmartSIP DTMF suppression solution, helping them comply with the PCI Data Security Standard (DSS),” noted Eric Rossman, vice president, Partners, Developers, and Alliances, Avaya.

Specifically speaking, SmartSIP delivers DTMF suppression and masking contact centers leveraging the Avaya IX, providing cardholder data is handled securely.  The IntraNext software ensures voice is not impacted while the agent and customer interact. It simply flattens the tone of the keypad while entering credit card information. Now, companies can gain full screen capture and full call recordings without putting compliance in question.

As a member of the Avaya DevConnect Program, solution providers can develop value-add applications to greatly enhance an Avaya platform. For IntraNext, its patented software solution is now officially complaint with the Avaya Aura Session Manager 8.1 as well as the Avaya SBCE and will monitor agents via Telephony Services API on the Avaya Aura Communication Manager.

“The Avaya compliance testing process is invaluable. It provides the opportunity for IntraNext and Avaya engineers to test solutions on open, standards-based platforms providing Avaya customers credence that new technologies can be incorporated into their existing Avaya communications infrastructure, “ stated Victoria Becker, Vice President, Business Development, IntraNext Systems.
