ENTA Chooses RingCentral to Improve Patient and Employee Engagement
Since the start of this global pandemic, remote work and video conferencing kicked into high gear. Many businesses soon realized they needed to make their digital transformation shift quickly.
ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP (ENTA), a practice with more than 220 physicians in 43 office locations across New York and New Jersey, partnered with RingCentral to meet this need. Using their cloud contact center offerings, they can now stay connected with patients and maintain high customer care and assist employees who are working from different locations.
With over 90,000 patients being seen every month, it was especially critical that they could reach them at every available touchpoint.
“Making our patients happy and healthy is of utmost importance, especially during these most challenging times,” said ENTA’s CEO Robert Glazer. “Launching RingCentral in just a matter of days ensured our ability to provide a state-of-the-art communications platform for all of our patients, while also empowering our employees to remain productive and stay connected—whether they were present in the call center or working from home.”
RingCentral’s Contact Center solution replaced their Legacy on-premise phone system, which could no longer keep pace with all patient calls coming in. They also needed an offering that was flexible enough for their staff to use.
Employees can now connect to the Patient Rapid Response Center (PRRC) even while working from home to quickly address patients and remain productive.
Additional benefits from the move to RingCentral’s platform include better mobile capabilities, enhanced security, and the ability to work from an open platform that integrates with other communications technologies and applications such as Google Chrome and Outlook.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has been a wake-up call for businesses all over the world, especially healthcare providers. Remote access to technology platforms is not just the future; it’s very clearly the present and the standard for organizations going forward,” says Robert Green, MD, President of ENTA. “The RingCentral platform effectively amplifies our communications and collaboration capabilities so that our patients, and our employees, are fully connected well into the future.”
